So many Spider-Men to kill so little time Spider-Verse deaths / casualties list There have been more casualties in the Spider-Verse than just about any Marvel event I can think of. Here is my attempt to organize those who have died by their universe and in which comic they died in. Who is Cosmic Spider-Man?

Who is Cosmic Spider-Man (Earth 13)? Cosmic Spider-Man of Earth 13 is a version of Spider-Man who never gave the Enigma Force. The Enigma Force was a set of powers that Spider-Man briefly had that gave him near god like force. First Appearance: Amazing Spider-Man #9 Death: Amazing Spider-Man #11 Bio: It is not clear when this Spider-Man gained the Enigma Force or why he decided to keep it. He does tweak Parkers line to be, "With Ultimate Power comes Ultimate Responsibility." Spider-Verse: Cosmic Spider-Man provides a safe haven for the Spider-Man's to use as a HQ. If he leaves his universe he loses his powers but within his universe he hopes to keep the Spiders safe. He specifically looks after Benji Parker the baby son of Peter Parker and Mary Jane in one of the universes. In making his universe a safe haven it becomes a target for the Inheritors. Who is Verna?

Who is Verna? Verna is one powerful members of the Inheritor family who hunt down and eat the life essence of of other living beings. First Appearance: Superior Spider-Man #33 Like the rest of the Inheritors she seems to be from Loomworld (Universe 001) Bio: Not much is known about Verna other than she is part of the Inheritor family and often uses Hounds other superpowered beings to hunt down and kill her prey. She does not seem to like getting her hands dirty. Verna's pets or hounds have been shown being different versions of well known Spider-Man characters. Characters like Silver Sable, the Puma, the Vulture and Kraven have shown being used as Verna's pets. At the end of the Spider-Verse story Verna is locked up in a bunker with the rest of her family in a radiated planet. Who are the Inheritors

The Inheritors are a family that believe they are destined to Inherit all of creation. They are extremely powerful and can eat (absorb) the life force of things that make up their DNA. Their DNA is a hodge podge mixture of bird, insect, human and animal. This allows them to effectively eat those who have powers from animal based sources like Black Panther or Spider-Man who are called Animal Totems. The inheritors can hunt any kind of animal totem but they especially hate spiders. Long ago the Inheritors enslaved the Master Weaver who spins the web that unites the Multiverse. By enslaving the universe they are able to travel through different times and universes to hunt totems. The Inheritors have also mastered death by using advanced cloning facilities to create new versions of themselves. They also do not seem to age, or at least age very slowly. Who is Karn? Karn is one of the evil inheritors that consume the life force of totems (Those with animal based powers). Karn shames his family at an early age and is forced to wear a mask to hide his face. He travels the multi-verse hunting down Spider-Totems seeking redemption. Karn is called out by the mystical Master Weaver as being different than all the other Inheritors. The Master Weaver says that Karn would rather build than destroy and he takes no pleasure in killing.
